The Miami Heat have four spots left on the roster after signing Omer Yurtseven to a two-year deal. Two of those spots are two-way spots.

Yurtseven took up one of the final guaranteed roster spots left, and Udonis Haslem will undoubtedly take up another one. That only leaves one normal roster spot open.

Miami will likely fill that spot with a veteran player who could come in and help if necessary. However, the two-way spots could end up being filled by anybody.

With the Summer League up and running, who should the Heat look to add as two-way players. Who are the best candidates to fill those spots?

Potential two-way targets for the Miami Heat: Yoeli Childs

Yoeli Childs played in the California Classic Summer League with the Lakers, and will likely be playing in Vegas as well. He is a 6-8 forward who spent last year in the G-League.

The 23-year-old was a four-year player at BYU before going undrafted in the 2020 NBA Draft. He has played well so far in the Summer League games.

Over two games, Childs averaged 9.5 points on 60.0% shooting from three-point range. He also averaged 5.5 rebounds and 2.0 blocks per game.

After losing Precious Achiuwa, the Heat could use some young talent at the forward position. Childs could learn from the likes of PJ Tucker and Markieff Morris.

Having forwards that can space the floor is always great. Childs may never be a star, but he could be a solid player to add in case Miami deals with injury issues.
