Miami Heat games to watch next year: Toronto Raptors

The Toronto Raptors struggled last season, but are set to have a solid team again this year. It should be a fun matchup to watch.

However, that’s not the real reason why fans need to tune in to this game. It will be the first time Kyle Lowry will ever face his former team.

Lowry spent the past nine years of his career in Toronto. He loved the city and the city also fell in love with him.

When he decided to leave, the mayor of the city put out a heartfelt message thanking him for his time in Toronto. He even said that he wanted there to be a statue of Lowry in the city one day.

The first time he steps back into the Scotiabank Arena he will surely be met with an abundance of cheers and a heartwarming video. He meant so much to the city and the first moments of the game will be a joy to watch.

Not only did Lowry have a long, illustrious tenure in the city, but he also helped deliver them their first championship in franchise history. That’s no easy task, and because of it he is now widely known as one of, if not the best Raptor of all time.

In addition, it could be the first chance Heat fans get to see Goran Dragic if he remains with the team. That will be a fun reunion to watch, too.

Tears will surely be flowing when Lowry faces off against the Raptors for the first time. It will be a great game to watch simply for that reason.
