The Miami Heat made a ton of moves this offseason. Not only did they sign three new free agents, but they also brought back a ton of players from their roster last year.

These moves include everything from signing Kyle Lowry, to bringing back Max Strus and Gabe Vincent. Both are important signings, but one clearly got significantly more media coverage.

In total, the Heat have made nine moves so far this offseason, and that doesn’t include signing Butler to an extension. They are also likely to re-sign Udonis Haslem, which would be their 10th move.

Which moves were the best ones they made? What are the top three moves the Miami Heat made this offseason?

Moves made by the Miami Heat #3: Re-signing Omer Yurtseven

Omer Yurtseven has been absolutely killing it in the Summer League so far. His play earned him a two-year contract with the Heat.

The 23-year-old showed a ton of potential in the G-League last year with the Oklahoma City Blue. Now he will be on the Heat for the next two seasons with hopes of proving himself.

His dominance in the Summer League came from a ton of different areas. He’s a great player in the post and can hit his three-pointers as well.

Defensively, he certainly has some room to improve. However, his offensive prowess was more than enough to warrant signing him to a multi-year deal.

Yurtseven will hopefully be able to help the Miami Heat with both of their timelines. He can help them right now by providing some floor spacing, and he will also be able to grow with Bam Adebayo and Tyler Herro into the future.
