Things that need to happen for the Miami Heat to win the NBA Finals: Tyler Herro must blossom into a star

Tyler Herro was thrown around in trade rumors to start this offseason, but as of now, he is still with the Miami Heat. If he can blossom into the star many people project him to be, the Heat would have an extra weapon to go to on offense.

Herro showed some amazing potential during his time in The Bubble. Some called it a fluke after this past year, but he actually improved in nearly every statistical category.

He may have struggled in the playoffs, but he is still only 21 years old. There is still plenty of time for him to take that next step.

If it were up to the Miami Heat, that time would be during this upcoming season. They have an amazing roster, and if Herro could turn into a borderline All-Star, it could be the best in the NBA.

At his peak, Herro has the potential to be an All-Star-caliber shot creator. He’s not afraid of the moment and has the ability to take over a game at a moment’s notice.

He’ll likely start the year coming off the bench, but he should strive to dominate second units around the league. If Herro could come into his own this year, there’s no reason he can’t average 18-20 points per game.
