The Miami Heat continue to make Miami Heat fans happy all across the world. While they have had one heck of an offseason, in it’s own self, they continue to strike the right chords that makes beautiful music sounds to the ears of the Miami Heat faithful.

Here’s a series of questions to help enlighten the topic here though. When you think about Michael Jeffrey Jordan, what’s the first team that comes to mind?

The Chicago Bulls. Resting in paradise, when you think about the legend of Kobe Bean Bryant… what’s the first team that comes to mind?

That should be the Los Angeles Lakers. When you think about Dwyane Tyrone Wade Jr., well, you get the theme here.

The first team that comes to mind should be the Miami Heat. Though not as legendary as these guys, from an on-court performance and accolades perspective, there is a guy that just re-upped with the Heat that means as much to them and what they’ve been able to do as these guys do and did to their franchises.

The Miami Heat are bringing back the man, the myth, the legend… Udonis Haslem. That’s reason to get excited … as the culture lives with ‘The Captain’.

For different reasons than the legends mentioned above, Udonis Haslem is forever a Miami Heat Legend. Guess what?

The legend is returning for another season. This one is to be his 19th in the league and fortunately for a lot of folks, all with the Miami Heat.

There has been a ton of debate about whether he is “worth” a roster spot or not. That shouldn’t be a “debate” though.

When it comes to UD’s worth, it’s bigger than just counting numbers, as it often is with the Miami Heat and their guys. What he offers… from a chemistry, team-building, discipline, and applicability-as-a-player perspective is worth its weight in gold to the Miami Heat.

If you can’t see it, you need to look a bit closer. There is a reason why he has the respect of many around the league and all of his teammates, no matter who that may be or come to be.
