The Miami Heat just can’t help themselves. They are always in the headlines.

About a week ago, the legendary basketball Hall-Of-Famer, Charles Barkley, was a guest on HBO’s “Back on the Record With Bob Costas”. While he was on the show, he made comments about former Miami Heat superstar LeBron James that sparked some controversy.

Barkley put in his two cents about the G.O.A.T. debate. He argued that Michael Jordan is the greatest of all time and that LeBron not only ranks below Jordan, but below Kobe Bryant as well.

His opinion is not too controversial; people constantly debate about who is the greatest, but it is generally accepted that Michael is the greatest to ever do it. What led to some disputes were his reasons for his ranking.

Basically, Barkley argues that although he has a lot of respect for LeBron, he believes that James has “stacked his teams” and that “the struggle is part of your legacy”. Barkley seems to suggest that because James left his original team, he took an easier path to a championship than Michael Jordan.

Does Chuck have a point? Or is it unfair to make such an argument against LeBron?

LeBron James received most of his hate and disrespect following his decision to leave the Cleveland Cavaliers and form a superteam with Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh as a part of the Miami Heat’s Big 3. Let’s focus on this part of his career, along with the events leading up to the decision.
