With the offseason coming to a close, the NBA season is finally here. The Miami Heat are ready to avenge their loss in last year’s playoffs and fight for a championship.

They signed Kyle Lowry and other depth pieces while also retaining most of their important rotational guys. It was a great offseason for Pat Riley, and some are calling it the best offseason out of any team.

Since all the commotion of the draft and free agency has come to an end, it’s a fun time to look ahead to the upcoming season. One event, in particular, should be of interest to fans – the 2022 NBA All-Star game.

Who on the Miami Heat has the best chance to be an All-Star this year? Which players will make the cut, and which will fall just short?

Miami Heat players who could make the All-Star game: Kyle Lowry

As mentioned, the big move Miami made this offseason was signing Kyle Lowry to a three-year deal. He has been an All-Star for six of the last seven seasons but fell short last year.

Lowry is a true point guard whose best skills are his shooting and playmaking. He’s one of those players who doesn’t necessarily need to fill up the stats sheet for his impact to be recognized.

It’s a similar situation to how Chris Paul made the All-Star team last year. However, Lowry may not have the same luck getting in as Paul did.

Expect Lowry to be one of those players on the fringe of making the team. Unfortunately, with all the talent the Miami Heat have in their roster, he’ll probably end up falling just short.
