The Miami Heat have an amazing roster. Pat Riley made a ton of fantastic moves this offseason to put together what should be a top team in the Eastern Conference.

Defensively, there aren’t many teams better than the Heat on paper. Offensively, while there are definitely some holes, Miami still managed to improve.

With all that being said, there is always room to improve. Unfortunately, the Heat don’t have the assets, nor the cap space, to add any more significant pieces.

So, let’s live in a dream world for a moment. If the Miami Heat had enough room to complete a realistic move, who would some of the best options be?

Dream targets for the Miami Heat: Brandon Ingram

Brandon Ingram is a certified bucket, that much is known. Adding him to Miami’s current lineup would make them a lethal threat on both sides of the floor.

He would slot in as the power forward next to Lowry, Robinson, Butler, and Adebayo. That starting five would easily be one of the best in the NBA.

The 23-year-old forward would work well with both timelines the Miami Heat have going on right now. He could help them win now, while also being able to grow into the future with Bam Adebayo and Tyler Herro.

If the New Orleans Pelicans decide to completely blow things up and rebuild to Zion Williamson’s liking, Ingram could be on the market. However, as is the point of the article, this addition is merely just a dream.
