The NBA season is still a couple of months away, but the excitement of the offseason is all but over. All the diehard Miami Heat fans are going to start getting restless sooner rather than later.

That being said, football season is here, and the NFL begins in just a couple of weeks. For those heavily invested in Fantasy Football, this news brings lots of joy.

However, for those who are Miami Heat fans first, maybe there’s an opportunity for a crossover. Why not combine football season with some fun, speculatory Heat writing?

What NFL position would every player on the Miami Heat play? Where would each player excel the2222222222 most in the NFL?

Omer Yurtseven – Offensive lineman

It’s tough to say what position Omer Yurtseven would play, simply because he hasn’t actually played in an NBA game yet. However, from his G-League highlights alone, he would make a solid offensive lineman.

At 7-0 tall and 275 lbs, Yurtseven would be a force to be reckoned with on the O-Line. He might have to put on some muscle, but he has the height and strength to do a decent job at protecting the quarterback.

Max Strus – Full back

Alright, this may seem a bit odd, but there aren’t many other positions Max Strus could play well. For the Miami Heat, he’s mainly just a catch-and-shoot guy, so it’s tough to find an NFL position for him.

At 6-5, Strus would be a pretty big fullback. The best part about being a fullback is that he won’t have to play much, he just has to come in and do his job when needed.
