Which NFL position would each Miami Heat player play?
Gabe Vincent – Cornerback
Gabe Vincent is 6-3 and 200 lbs, which seems like the perfect build for an NFL cornerback. He’s pretty quick and plays with a ton of energy, which would also translate well to the NFL.
The argument could be made for him being a wide receiver, but Vincent plays with the intensity of a defender. It’s easy to picture him getting into wideouts heads like Jalen Ramsey and prime Josh Norman.
KZ Okpala – Safety
KZ Okpala has played his best basketball on the defensive end so far in the NBA. So, for his NFL position, it only makes sense to put him on defense.
At around 6-8, Okpala would cause fits for opposing QBs. His raw athleticism would be a huge factor in his ability to deflect passes thrown his way.
Markieff Morris – Defensive end
Imagine looking up after snapping the ball to see Markieff Morris barrelling through the O-Line. One can only imagine the terror the QB would feel.
Morris, a 6-8, 245-lb forward, plays with as much intensity as anyone else in the NBA. Having him coming off the end of a D-Line would be a genius move for any NFL team.
Udonis Haslem – Defensive tackle
Similar to Morris, Udonis Haslem would make a great defensive lineman. Having him in the middle would be terrifying for opponents to go against.
The intensity with which he plays in the NBA would certainly translate to the football field. The only issue is, a 41-year-old defensive tackle may not be the best idea.
