The Miami Heat have a full, 14-man roster assembled for the upcoming season. They may choose to add one more player, but as of now, they have enough players to start the year.
It seems as though the team will be best on defense, but Pat Riley put together a fairly well-rounded roster. They have some elite defensive pieces, but also some players who excel on offense.
Ideally, every player would be great on both ends, but that’s rarely the case in the NBA. However, that doesn’t mean people can’t improve in certain areas.
Every player on the roster could stand to get better in some respect. What’s one area each player on the roster needs to improve upon this season?
Udonis Haslem: Not getting thrown out
What else is there for Udonis Haslem to accomplish in the NBA? He’s already 41 years old and only actually plays in a couple of games every year at this point.
The only thing he could improve upon from last year is not getting tossed. The people want to see him play, although him trying to fight Dwight Howard sure was entertaining, too.
Victor Oladipo: Health
Just to get an obvious one out of the way, Victor Oladipo needs to focus on getting healthy. He only played four games in a Miami Heat uniform last season, and that needs to change this year.
If he can come back and be even a fraction of his former self for Miami, it would be a huge boost for them. Oladipo just needs to focus on rehabbing his injury and getting back on the court as soon as possible.
