One thing each Miami Heat player needs to improve upon

Duncan Robinson: Defense

Duncan Robinson is one of the best three-point shooters in the NBA, but he could stand to improve on the defensive end. Luckily for the Heat, Robinson mentioned that he would be working on this on an episode of his podcast.

He will get playing time simply because he’s an amazing shooter, but having him be a plus defender would be great. Any improvements on that end for him would be phenomenal.

Kyle Lowry: Off-ball shooting

Kyle Lowry is a pretty well-rounded player. There aren’t many areas of the game where he truly needs to improve in order to be effective.

However, if there were one place where he should focus on improving, it’s his off-ball, catch-and-shoot shooting. With Jimmy Butler taking some of the ball-handling opportunities, too, he’ll be in those situations a lot more often now.

Bam Adebayo: Taking more shots

All Bam Adebayo has to do this season is take more shots. He’s an efficient shooter and knows how to get to his spots, but he just has to shoot the ball more.

Adebayo could legitimately be the team’s leading scorer this year if he simply shot the ball more. If the Miami Heat want to be the best version of themselves, Adebayo has to take on a larger scoring role.

Jimmy Butler: Shooting

Jimmy Butler, like Lowry, is a very well-rounded player. If there’s one area where he should look to improve in, it’s his three-point shooting.

If Butler can shoot above average from deep, it completely changes the dynamic of Miami’s offense. It might actually push them over the top in their pursuit of a championship.
