Miami Heat Rumors: New leaked jerseys are absolutely terrible

Every year in the Nike era, NBA teams are tasked with coming up with new jersey designs. Historically, the Miami Heat have had some of the best alternate jerseys.

Their Vice City jerseys are widely regarded as some of the best ones out there. The pink and blue ones aren’t the best, but the white and black versions of the jerseys are super clean.

Last year, some did not like the yellow alternates, but even those weren’t awful. Well, the latest jerseys that have been leaked do not look promising for Miami Heat fans.

A few different teams had their jerseys leaked in recent weeks, and while none are confirmed, these leaks are usually pretty spot on. The Miami Heat jerseys do not look too hot.

Based on the picture, the team tried to incorporate letters from a bunch of their previous designs. It sort of looks like the Cleveland Cavaliers’ jerseys from last season.

The design has not been very well received on Twitter, and rightfully so. If these actually end up being the Heat’s alternate jerseys, it’s not a great look.

The only thing that’s good about these jerseys is the black background. Black jerseys are often pretty clean, but the lettering on these designs is absolutely horrendous.

It’s an interesting concept, but there’s just too much going on. The jerseys are tough to look at, and if they are to be compared to the Vice City jerseys, don’t even come close.

Some Twitter users have gone as far as saying that the jerseys look like a ransom note. Honestly, it does kind of look like someone just cut out a bunch of magazine letters and put them together.

Jerseys often look better once they are being worn, but this design might just end up flopping altogether.
