Miami Heat players who could average 20 PPG: Kyle Lowry

Kyle Lowry is an All-Star level player, so there’s always a chance he could average 20 points per game. That being said, it’s highly unlikely that the veteran point guard reaches that milestone.

Throughout his 15-year NBA career, Lowry has only averaged 20 or more points per game twice. He did it in back-to-back seasons in 2015-16 and 2016-17.

This year, Lowry will probably take on a more pass-first role in Miami. However, maybe he’ll end up being more of a scorer than most people think.

He is one of the best three-point shooters on the team, so being in that role alone should help him get some easy buckets. Maybe this is Lowry’s time to be the main scorer.

Miami Heat players who could average 20 PPG: Bam Adebayo

Most Miami Heat fans have one common mindset this offseason – they want to see Bam Adebayo take on the role of the leading scorer this year.

Up to this point in his career, Adebayo hasn’t been a very aggressive player on offense. If he can flip that narrative, there’s no telling how many points he could average.

With the pieces surrounding him, he should be getting more easy looks than ever. Both Lowry and Butler could help him score easy points in the paint.

If Adebayo can finally take the most shots per game on the team, he’d be an elite first option. All he has to do is be aggressive and start taking more shots.
