The Miami Heat have their core set for this upcoming season. They added Kyle Lowry and also managed to retain most of their key pieces from last year.

Not only are the Heat set up to compete right now, but they also have a bright future ahead of them. Players such as Bam Adebayo, Tyler Herro, and Omer Yurtseven are all young and haven’t even come close to their full potential.

With all that being said, there’s no reason for the Heat not to monitor the trade market. If they can find someone within their grasp, why not pull the trigger?

What players around the league might be available via trade sometime soon? Who should the Miami Heat monitor on the trade block?

Potential trade targets the Miami Heat should monitor: Justin Holiday

Justin Holiday is a solid 3&D wing who would provide great bench minutes for the Miami Heat. His availability will depend on how well the Indiana Pacers perform this season.

Last year, the Pacers were an absolute mess and ended up missing the playoffs. They fired their head coach after only one year on the job.

However, they now have Rick Carlisle at the helm, so things could end up improving. That being said, if they aren’t playing up to par by the deadline, they could hold a fire sale.

Holiday is on a cheap, tradable contract which makes him relatively easy to trade for. With the current lack of depth at the wing, he should certainly be on Miami’s radar.
