NBA Power Rankings for all 30 starting 5s: Where do the Miami Heat rank?
5. Philadelphia 76ers: Ben Simmons, Seth Curry, Danny Green, Tobias Harris, Joel Embiid
Despite their internal issues, the 76ers still have a great starting five. Simmons is an elite defender, Harris is great on offense, and Embiid is a perennial MVP candidate.
4. Miami Heat: Kyle Lowry, Duncan Robinson, Jimmy Butler, PJ Tucker, Bam Adebayo
This is where the Miami Heat lie in the rankings. Having three All-Star caliber players certainly means they are deserving of a top spot.
3. Los Angeles Lakers: Russell Westbrook, Wayne Ellington, LeBron James, Anthony Davis, Dwight Howard
The Lakers are going to have one of the most star-studded teams in the league this year. However, the other two spots being taken up by veterans lowers their overall ranking a bit.
2. Milwaukee Bucks: Jrue Holiday, Donte Divincenzo, Khris Middleton, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Brook Lopez
The reigning champs were champs for a reason. They have one of the best defensive lineups in basketball and a two-time MVP in Antetokounmpo.
1. Brooklyn Nets: Kyrie Irving, James Harden, Joe Harris, Kevin Durant, Blake Griffin
It’s hard to argue against the fact that Brooklyn has the best starting five in the league. Honestly, this could be one of the best starting fives of all time.
