Players who might not finish the season with the Miami Heat: Tyler Herro

Tyler Herro’s name has been brought up in trade rumors for what seems like the past year. Ever since the season ended, there has been a ton of speculation as to whether or not he would be traded.

While it seems unlikely right now, the season is filled with unexpected twists. There are multiple scenarios that could happen that would cause Herro to be traded.

Right now, he is first in line to be the sixth man. However, he needs to live up to the expectations being placed on him in order to keep that spot.

Last season, Herro struggled to perform in the playoffs. He shot super inefficiently and, while he wasn’t the sole reason, played a part in the Miami Heat getting swept in Round 1 by the Milwaukee Bucks.

Ideally, Herro has a bounce-back season this year and proves why he is so valuable. However, if he doesn’t play well, the Heat may choose to trade him at the deadline.

Even if his value dips a little, he is still a super young player with solid potential. A young, up-and-coming might be willing to trade a couple of solid veterans in exchange for him.

Depending on how well he is playing, it might be in Miami’s best interest to make that move. If they are in a position to win a championship and Herro is struggling, it might be worth it.

Hopefully, Herro is able to have a great year and prove all the doubters wrong. However, there’s always that slight chance that he ends up in a different city this year.
