Tyler Herro trade rumors dominated headlines to start the Miami Heat offseason. His play in the playoffs last season left much to be desired, and some believed it could be the end of his time in South Beach.

With multiple stars potentially on the move this summer, Herro is Miami’s most valuable asset. His potential is still super high, and many teams around the league would be ecstatic to add him to their young core.

Most young teams around the league would likely show interest in the young guard. The question is, what teams would actually be willing to pull the trigger.

Many have explored potential blockbusters the Miami Heat could pull off involving Herro, however, it’s also important to look at the perspective of other teams. What teams are most likely to trade for Herro this offseason?

Teams most likely to trade for Miami Heat guard Tyler Herro: Cleveland Cavaliers

The Cleveland Cavaliers are perfectly set up to trade for Tyler Herro this offseason. The most common rumor is that they would trade Collin Sexton and Kevin Love to the Miami Heat in exchange for the guard.

Sexton has been brought up in trade rumors ever since the offseason started. The rumors have begun to heat up in recent weeks, as most believe he will be dealt before the start of next year.

Love has also sparked rumors, as he has grown increasingly frustrated with the Cavs in recent years. He has thrown multiple on-court temper tantrums, so his time in Cleveland is likely almost up.

Trading Herro and salary-filler for these two could work out well for both sides. The Miami Heat get better players to help compete right now, while the Cavs get another young piece to add to their core.
