The Miami Heat are preparing to compete for a championship this season. However, some of their former players might be preparing for a very different competition.

An Instagram account recently posted a graphic showing three different father-son duos. The image pitted LeBron and Bronny James, Dwyane and Zaire Wade, and Shaquille and Shareef O’Neal against each other.

This sort of dream matchup is the thing brought up only in fantasy debates. However, one of these guys might be trying to make it happen in real life.

Shaquille O’Neal took the graphic and made his own Instagram post about it. According to him, he and his sons would be up to the challenge, and open to taking part in the competition.

The former NBA center would be teaming up with one of his two sons against two of his former teammates and their sons. This kind of tournament would be sure to break the internet.

Both of O’Neal’s sons will be playing college ball this upcoming season. Shareef, the one pictured in the post, plays for LSU, while Shaqir just committed to Texas Southern back in May.

As for James’ and Wade’s sons, they are both killing it in the world of basketball, too. In fact, they both played for the same school, Sierra Canyon, at one point in time.

Now, Wade, who is in the class of 2021, has multiple offers from Division I schools such as URI and South Carolina. Meanwhile, James is still in high school and has an offer from Kentucky.

Getting to watch Dwyane Wade play basketball again would be a dream come true for Miami Heat fans everywhere. Getting to watch him play against LeBron James and Shaquille O’Neal would make it even better.

The only issue with a game such as this is that James is still in the NBA. The others would have to work around his busy schedule, and he would have to be up for it, too.

Wade has been fairly busy, too. He is an owner of the Utah Jazz now and even hosts his own game show, The Cube, on TBS.

So, if this matchup were to take place, who would you be taking? Who would win in a tournament between these three legendary father-son duos?
