The Miami Heat made a ton of great additions this summer, including bringing back key pieces from last year’s roster. Due to this, they are in a prime position to compete for a championship.

With that goal in mind, it might be in their best interest to explore the trade market around the deadline. If an enticing offer arises, they might want to jump on it.

In order to do that, however, they would have to part ways with some of the players on their team. Which players would they be most willing to give up?

Who on the Miami Heat should be considered untouchable? On the flip side, which players would they be willing to trade?

Ranking Miami Heat players from least to most untouchable

14. KZ Okpala

With the way KZ Okpala has been played, the Miami Heat should be willing to trade him. He might have some value to rebuilding teams, but Miami is by no means rebuilding right now.

13. Markieff Morris

Markieff Morris will provide some solid depth, but he’s by no means untouchable. PJ Tucker can do everything Morris can do, but better, so Miami should not be afraid to move Morris if necessary.

12. Dewayne Dedmon

The addition of Omer Yurtseven could potentially make Dewayne Dedmon expendable. He’s a great rotational center for the Heat, but now that Yurtseven is on the team, he’s not necessarily crucial to their success.

11. Max Strus

Max Strus has the potential to turn into a lethal shooter for the Miami Heat, but he is not untouchable. The Heat shouldn’t be actively looking to trade him, but he’s not someone they couldn’t replace.
