Miami Heat: Does Duncan Robinson Gain The Most With Kyle Lowry Addition?

When you look at Duncan Robinson, he’s a one trick pony, it’s just that he does that “one trick” better than almost anyone else on the face of the planet. Relative to the rest of the team, they do. a lot of other stuff as parts of their game.

So, while Jimmy Butler, Bam Adebayo, Tyler Herro, and the rest of the team might benefit from Lowry’s presence, no one will feel the overall impact of what he does more than Duncan.

Because Duncan operates a certain way… all the time, it got to a point and especially last season, where the opposition knew what was coming, knocked Duncan off his spot, or had multiple sets of eyes on him for most of the night.

With Kyle Lowry in tow, a lot of that won’t be true. With Lowry, the defense won’t be able to predict as much, as Lowry might be the guy to gash you.

That also plays towards being able to knock him off his spot or crowd him, even if not pure double or triple teams. There won’t be an extra guy now to allow the defense to be able to do that.
