NBA trade targets the Miami Heat should avoid: Kevin Knox

This isn’t to say that the Miami Heat would ever do a deal like this, however, the Knicks will likely be shopping him around. This is just to really hammer the fact that no one should be trading for Kevin Knox.

Miami has the assets to pull this deal off, but unless the Knicks magically give them picks in exchange for taking him on, Knox should be avoided at all costs.

It just makes zero sense for the Miami Heat to acquire Knox. He has shown no ability to be a consistent contributor in an NBA rotation, let alone a winning one.

A young, rebuilding team may be willing to trade for Knox this year. However, the Miami Heat are the last team who should be looking to make that move.

NBA trade targets the Miami Heat should avoid: Ben Simmons

This point has been made time and time again – the Miami Heat should stay far away from Ben Simmons. His fit in Miami would be the worst of any player in the NBA.

Out of all the NBA skills, the two Miami needs an infusion of the most are scoring and shooting. Simmons’ worst two skills? Scoring and shooting.

The guy was quite literally afraid to shoot a layup last year and ended up costing the 76ers a game. It was an embarrassing display of basketball.

No matter how badly Simmons wants to get out of Philadelphia, the Heat should not even engage in trade talks. The Miami Heat should avoid Simmons at all costs.
