Despite putting together a solid roster this offseason, the Miami Heat should be constantly looking to improve. In a league as tough as the NBA, everyone should always be looking for more ways to add to their roster.

A couple of the most common ways to do this are through trades and the buyout market. Teams around the league look to make changes using these outlets around the trade deadline.

These practices are more common for teams trying to compete for championships. This year, the Miami Heat 100% fall under that category.

With all that in mind, who should the Miami Heat look to add around the trade deadline? Which available players will be too good for them to pass up on?

Midseason additions for the Miami Heat that will be too good to pass up on: Danuel House

Danuel House has one season left on his deal with the Houston Rockets. He’ll be making around $3.8 million this year, but might end up leaving Houston before the season is over.

The Rockets are in full rebuild mode, and since House is on a cheap contract, they could look to trade him for picks. If not, they could simply choose to buy him out.

Regardless, the Miami Heat should definitely inquire about getting him. House is a solid defender and great three-point shooter who would provide some much-needed wing depth for Miami.

The Heat lack wing depth, and bringing in House would help solve that issue. Since his contract is super inexpensive, there’s no reason for them not to try and get him this year.
