Miami Heat: Is Tyler Herro Still Right On Schedule?

When you look at Tyler Herro’s short career, thus far, it appears that he had an awesome rookie year, followed by a not so awesome second year. On the surface, that would be correct.

There is a strange phenomenon that occurred over these past two years and it might help to explain what has been put on display by Tyler Herro. To be quite literal and on the situation as a whole, there were more days in between the pre-bubble and bubble parts of that one season than there were betwixt the bubble season and the season that followed.

It was almost three times as much time, with the pandemic splitting the season up by five months and the offseason only separating that season and the last one by about two months or so. That’s the simplicity of the story that said “bite-sized” pieces don’t truly reflect.
