Miami Heat trade history with the Sacramento Kings

Most recently, the Miami Heat traded Chris Silva and Maurice Harkless to the Kings in exchange for Nemanja Bjelica. Considering how little Bjelica played, this deal was not great for the Heat.

Neither Harkless nor Silva played a significant role for Miami, but neither did Bjelica. This trade was kind of a wash all around.

Back in 2014, the Heat sent Roger Mason and cash to the Kings for a 2015 second-round pick. Unfortunately, the pick was conditional and never conveyed.

Since the pick did not convey, this trade was kind of a bust for Miami. However, Mason never played a game for a Kings, so this trade was kind of useless, too.

In 1997, Miami traded Matt Fish, Gary Grant, and a 1999 second-round pick to Sacramento for Duane Causwell. Just like the last trade, though, the pick was conditional and never conveyed for the Kings.

Fish and Grant never suited up for the Kings, but Causwell was nothing more than an end-of-the-bench guy for Miami. At least he played some games for the team he was traded to, though.

The Heat and Kings exchanged two players for two players back in 1996. Miami traded Kevin Gamble and Billy Owens to the Kings in exchange for Tyrone Corbin and Walt Williams.

Unfortunately, the Kings likely won this trade. Both Corbin and Williams played under 30 games for the Heat, while Owens ended up playing over 160 games in Sacramento.

Lastly, the first trade these two teams ever completed came in 1990. The Heat traded Rory Sparrow to the Kings for Bimbo Coles.

So, what was the best trade the Heat made with the Kings? Which one benefitted Miami significantly more than it did Sacramento?
