Miami Heat: At Right Price, They Should Definitely Be Interested In John Wall

The common theme heading into the year is that the NBA Title will, inevitably, run through the Eastern Conference. The reigning champs, the Milwaukee Bucks, and the team with the most top-end talent, the Brooklyn Nets, reside in the East.

That also shouldn’t shock then, when you find out that most have them on a different tier than any other team in the Eastern Conference. Well, as indicative of the Nets’ fortune, talent wins out in the NBA.

If the Miami Heat could land John Wall, that takes them up by three clicks, minimally. Not only do they add to the overall arsenal, skill set, and depth of their team, in totality, but he’s likely their Sixth Man if he came over.

He would be the best Sixth Man in the league, bar none. When you think about a reserve unit that features him, Tyler Herro, Max Strus, Dewayne Dedmon, Markieff Morris, and quite a few other guys, they could be the best bench unit in the league, by far.

Listen though, there’s also something that’s probably been forgot, at the moment. Victor Oladipo should be back by the All-Star break, minimally and with some people thinking it could be as soon as December.

What’s that do for the Miami Heat? If Victor Oladipo and John Wall can be your first two guys off the bench and that unit consists of Herro, Wall, Oladipo, Strus, Dedman, Morris, and everything else, they have another superpower to deploy against teams.

No team’s bench would be able to compete with that. The Miami Heat would literally be able to win games based on the separation that their bench provides or because the starters would dominate, seeing as though the opposition might have to fatigue their starters to compete with the Heat bench.

It could be fireworks. So, again and only at the right price, nothing remotely crazy, the Miami Heat should be interested in Wall if he hits the Buyout Market.

Picking him up, all but ensures, an Eastern Conference Finals berth.
