With a ton of talented players left on the board, the Detroit Pistons choose to select Cole Anthony. He had a great season with the Orlando Magic, and his personality would be a great fit in Detroit.

Anthony is a very lively person whose personality shines through every chance it gets to. He’s not afraid of the moment, he’s extremely confident, and had a severely underrated rookie season.

In fact, it was so underrated that he was left off of both All-Rookie teams. Sometimes a player is worth more than his stats, and Anthony is a perfect example of that.

His innate ability to get buckets is what makes him so special. Seeing as the Pistons finished bottom five in points per game, they could have used a player like Anthony on their roster last season.

Maybe it’s a hot take, but Anthony could very well turn into a superstar in the NBA. He may not be as sure of a thing as the players above him, but the talent is very clearly there.
