As of now, it seems as though the Miami Heat love their roster. They added a few new pieces and also kept most of their core from last season.
A Big 3 of Jimmy Butler, Bam Adebayo, and Kyle Lowry should be able to compete with any other team in the NBA. The ultimate goal is an NBA championship, that much is clear.
That being said, what if the Heat decided to shake things up mid-season. Miami is not going to trade any member of their Big 3… but what if they did?
The Big 3 on the Miami Heat is untouchable, but what would a trade look like if they decided to make one? Most likely, they wouldn’t get enough value in return, but it’s always intriguing to look at what a package would look like.
Realistic Miami Heat trades for the Big 3: Kyle Lowry
The Miami Heat just signed Kyle Lowry, but if they wanted to trade him away, this is what a deal could look like. Since the New Orleans Pelicans were also interested in Lowry, they may be willing to trade for him.
Since Zion Williamson’s family complained about wanting Williamson out, they need to be doing everything possible to make him happy. Bringing in a point guard like Lowry would certainly help them improve.
The deal would be centered around Josh Hart and other young pieces. This trade clearly wouldn’t make the Miami Heat better, but it’s the most realistic trade they could get in return for Lowry.
None of the trades for members of the Big 3 are going to be ideal, but the idea here is to think up the most realistic deals that could get done. This is what one would look like for Lowry.
