Realistic Miami Heat trades for the Big 3: Bam Adebayo
This trade was by far the most difficult to come up with. Bam Adebayo is so good at such a young age that it’s nearly impossible to find a trade that sends enough value back in return for him.
Well, the one team that has a center good enough to replace Adebayo and the young assets to trade for him is the Atlanta Hawks. Clint Capela is not on the same level as Adebayo, but he’s still a top-ten center in the NBA.
The Hawks would form a dynamic duo of Trae Young and Bam Adebayo that would thrive for many years. They would be a force to be reckoned with for the next decade.
That being said, Atlanta would also have to give up almost all of their young depth to get Adebayo. This is the young depth that would help refuel Miami’s future.
For the immediate future, Capela would be able to serve as Miami’s starting center, which would still make them a playoff team. Meanwhile, they would also get some great young wings to help for the future.
De’Andre Hunter is an elite 3&D forward, Kevin Huerter is a sharpshooter, and Cameron Reddish has the potential to be a dynamic two-way star.
The Miami Heat would definitely lose out on value since Adebayo is such an emerging young star. However, this is probably the best package they could get for him.
