The Miami Heat have always been a super competitive franchise. They always seem to be in the playoff race, and for the most part, have been able to put up a fight in the postseason.

A big part of this success is the fact that their fans expect nothing but the best. Miami Heat fans are some of the best in the business, and they expect nothing but the best from their favorite team.

Well, as the Heat get ready to begin a new campaign, things are looking different in South Beach. With new players come new expectations, and with new expectations come high hopes from the fans.

What are some things fans should be looking for this season? What things do the Miami Heat need to do in order to be the best version of themselves?

Things Miami Heat fans should watch for this season: Kyle Lowry’s chemistry

The Miami Heat signed Kyle Lowry to a three-year deal this offseason, locking down who many considered to be the best available free agent this summer. Now, he’ll have the chance to play with some of the best talent he’s ever played with.

Lowry and Jimmy Butler are long-time friends, and Lowry seems to be generally liked around the league, so off-court chemistry shouldn’t be a problem. However, it may take a bit to fully develop the on-court chemistry.

Having a point guard run the offense will certainly be a change for the Heat. For the past couple of seasons, Butler has held that role full-time.

This isn’t to say that Lowry will be bad, just that it may take him a while to fully mesh with the team.
