Instead of taking a power forward with this pick, the Detroit Pistons take a wing instead. They choose to select Nickeil Alexander-Walker with the fifteenth overall pick.

Originally, the Pistons took Sekou Doumbouya with this pick. He ended up not panning out for Detroit, and they traded him away to the Brooklyn Nets this offseason.

Alexander-Walker has shown some great flashes of his true potential during his time in New Orleans. He seems to fit the bill as a well-rounded wing who can do a little bit of everything.

While he hasn’t been the most efficient player thus far in his career, it is clear to see his potential. At 6-6, he has a great NBA frame, and now just needs to work on ironing out all of the little things.

The Pistons would benefit from another dynamic wing coming off of the bench. Instead of Doumbouya, they go with Alexander-Walker in this re-draft.
