The trend of being boring continues as the fourth overall pick remains the same as well. Picking De’Andre Hunter here makes way too much sense for the Atlanta Hawks, so they do just that once again in this re-draft.

Hunter has the potential to be one of the best 3&D players in the NBA, and if he can stay healthy, he might already be one. He was on track for a great season last year before he got hurt.

He returned to play some solid minutes in the playoffs, but we won’t get a sense of how good he can be until he plays a full year without getting injured. That’s not exactly his fault, though.

Atlanta should be looking to surround Trae Young with as much perimeter defense as possible, and Hunter provides that. He’s arguably the best perimeter defender in this entire draft class.

There’s no one else left on the board who the Hawks should take over Hunter. So, while it may be boring, Atlanta makes the same pick in this re-draft, selecting Hunter fourth overall.
