Speaking of Coby White, it doesn’t take long for him to get snatched up after the Chicago Bulls passed on him at pick seven. The New Orleans Pelicans get a guard to pair with Zion Williamson in this re-draft.

White has shown a ton of potential in Chicago, particularly in his second year with the team. In year two his scoring numbers went up, his assists numbers went up, and his efficiency went up as well.

Since they, for some reason, decided to give up on Lonzo Ball, having White would be the perfect replacement for New Orleans. He’s a young, up-and-coming guard who would be able to grow with Williamson into the future.

The best part about this fit is that White would have had a starting job right away. He’s been in and out of the starting lineup for the Bulls, but in New Orleans, he would have the chance to be a full-time starter.

Instead of taking Jaxson Hayes, the Pelicans go small in this re-draft. They take White at pick eight, just one spot after he was originally selected.
