As the Miami Heat prepare for their upcoming season, most of the attention is going to their star players. With the addition of Kyle Lowry, Miami now has a Big 3 of him, Jimmy Butler, and Bam Adebayo.

In addition, Tyler Herro and PJ Tucker have been getting some attention lately, too. Each of them has made noise on social media for recent quotes or actions.

However, while all of these players will be crucial to Miami’s success, there’s one player in particular who fans should be keeping a close eye on. That player is Duncan Robinson.

The Miami Heat just signed him to a huge extension and now he has something to prove. What are three ways Robinson can improve this season?

Ways Duncan Robinson can improve this season for the Miami Heat: Take more shots

This may seem a bit counter-intuitive considering the Heat got even more talented players this summer. However, with the number of weapons Miami has, Robinson should be getting more open looks than ever.

If we’ve learned anything from watching Robinson for the past two years, it’s that he rarely misses open threes. The more open looks he gets, the more points he’s putting on the board.

Robinson is almost a lock to shoot around 40% from three-point range. The Miami Heat need him taking as many shots as he can get in every single game.

Though they added a couple of solid shooters this summer, three-point shooting is still one of the weaknesses of this team. Robinson needs to help make up for that.
