Miami Heat: Best trade ever done with the Denver Nuggets
By Jack Simone
The Miami Heat only made one “trade” this summer, but it wasn’t even really a trade. They signed Kyle Lowry but just ended up turning the deal into a sign-and-trade.
This quiet offseason was fairly on-brand for the Miami Heat. Throughout history, they have been one of the quieter teams in regard to the trade market.
So far this offseason, we at All U Can Heat have covered Miami’s trade history with a wide variety of teams. These teams include the Kings, Knicks, Mavericks, Cavaliers, and Rockets.
Most recently, though, we took a look at Miami’s trade history with the Atlanta Hawks. Ironically enough, they just so happened to be playing the Hawks in their first preseason game, too.
It was concluded that the best trade ever made with the Hawks was for a 1996 first-round pick. This is only because that pick was later traded for head coach Pat Riley.
Now, it is time to spin the wheel of NBA teams and pick a new one to look at. This time, the wheel chose the Denver Nuggets, so it’s time to look at their trade history with the Miami Heat.
In total, the two teams have made three trades throughout the years. The most recent one was back in 2019, while the earliest deal was in 1990.
Now, it’s time to take a look at what those trades ended up being. And since hindsight is, in fact, 20/20, which deal ended up being the best for the Miami Heat after all these years?
