Miami Heat: Between Gabe And Tyler Herro, They’ll Be Fine Until Dipo Returns

First off, that’s enough to shine a great light on you in the eyes of the Miami Heat’s made men. The sheer hard work of it all is one thing, but for that work to come on the defensive side and see a markable improvement, that’s Heat Culture aphrodisiac.

He even showed in the first preseason contest that he can put it all together. Again, only preseason, but he defended well, hit a few open shots, and even created a bit for his teammates as the man with the ball in his hands.

He would finish with six points, seven assists, and one rebound on 2-4 from the field and 2-3 from range. That was all across 21 minutes of action on Monday and though he did have three turnovers in the game, you can live with that if he works to clean up his decision-making because you know he’s willing to do the work.

With all of that and the fact that he looks like he can put it together in live-game action, he should be well on his way to suceeding in his role. For him, that seems to be manning the primary backup point guard role or at least a share of it with Tyler Herro.

It all becomes much easier once Victor Oladipo comes back into the fold, allowing everyone to relieve themselves of a little pressure. Until then though, Gabe looks like he might be just fine.
