The Miami Heat have played three preseason games and have taken home a win in each of them. All in all, that sounds like a pretty successful start to the season.
Overall, there have been very few negatives so far this preseason for the Heat. It’s kind of hard to complain about three straight wins, with two of them being fairly convincing.
Everything is going to plan, and each and every player on the roster seems to be playing well. But who is playing the best?
Who are the top five performers for the Miami Heat so far this preseason? Out of all of the great players, who is at the very top of the list?
Best Miami Heat preseason performers so far: 5. KZ Okpala
This may seem like a weird choice considering KZ Okpala is only averaging 5.0 points per game in two games played. However, it’s one improvement in particular that lands him on this list – shooting.
Over the course of the two games he has played, Okpala has shot 37.5% from deep. The sample size may be very small, but that could be a great sign of what’s to come.
If Okpala can become even an average three-point shooter, it could transform his game completely. Not only that, but it could lead to him earning some meaningful minutes this year.
This is less of an impressive performance shoutout and more of a shoutout to Okpala for showing signs of improvement. Hopefully, he can continue to do so from behind the three-point arc.
