Best Miami Heat preseason performers so far: Kyle Lowry & Tyler Herro

2. Kyle Lowry

It’s crazy that Kyle Lowry is averaging the least points on the entire team and still making such a huge impact. So far this preseason, he has shown why the Miami Heat paid him nearly $30 million.

Despite averaging under four points per game, Lowry’s impact has been undeniable. His passing has opened up so many opportunities for the Miami Heat offense.

He ranks second in the league in assists per game so far (8.5), with only Chris Paul ahead of him. The way he is able to get teammates open shots is truly fun to watch.

Imagine how good this team will look once Lowry gets into full swing in the regular season. Miami Heat basketball is going to be some very fun basketball to watch.

1. Tyler Herro

This was probably the most obvious choice there ever could be. Tyler Herro has been absolutely phenomenal for the Miami Heat this preseason.

He just seems to be playing the game with a whole new mindset. He is getting whatever shot he wants, getting past the defender, and then draining it.

Just take a look at the clinic he put on from the mid-range against the Spurs. He’s absolutely dominating the competition, and he leads the entire league in points right now (25.3).

If this is the Tyler Herro the Miami Heat get during the regular season, they could be a very scary team to deal with. It’s just up to him to keep up this pace.
