As the Miami Heat continue their preseason, they take on the Atlanta Hawks tonight. They already saw the Hawks once this preseason, taking home the 125-99 win in that one.

The Hawks made a super deep playoff push last year, and they will be looking to capitalize on it this season. In addition, they aren’t the only team to watch out for this season.

A lot of teams in the East got better this season, and with that, there are some players who will be looking to lead their teams. Trae Young of the Hawks is the perfect example.

However, everyone knows the star players – Young, Kevin Durant, Jayson Tatum, Joel Embiid, etc. Sometimes, it’s the other players who can do the most damage.

With that in mind, who are some under-the-radar players the Miami Heat will have to look out for this season? Who are the biggest low-key threats to them in the Eastern Conference in terms of players?

Under-the-radar Eastern Conference players the Miami Heat need to watch out for: Jaylen Brown

Despite being an All-Star last season, Jaylen Brown often finds himself overshadowed by his teammate Jayson Tatum. However, he will end up being just as much of a problem.

Brown is already one of the best two-way wings in the league and is still improving. The Heat could also struggle to contain him at points this season.

Jimmy Butler will likely draw the Jayson Tatum assignment, but who will guard Brown? Kyle Lowry seems a bit too small, and Duncan Robinson would get blown by.

The Heat will obviously figure it out defensively, but this is just to say that Brown is someone to look out for. Boston’s wing duo is great, and Brown plays just as big a role in that as Tatum does.
