Miami Heat: Bulked Bam Adebayo Why Giannis Improvement Not As Scary

Playing in just his second game of the preseason, Giannis Antetokounmpo proceeded to put on a show with what seems to be a newly refreshed shooting ability. Though he showed an improved three-point shot in that game, as well as a slew of other ways to get it off, this one in transition really opens the eyes.

He’s even fixed another infamous area of his shooting game, it seems. Maybe you need 10 seconds or so to figure it out?

That would be his free throw shooting. He seems to have unveiled a quicker-paced version than the one that got him some unwanted attention last year.

In any event, let’s just say that it isn’t as long and drawn out of a process anymore. But, when it potentially could have led to playoff elimination, he had to do something.

If you know what you are seeing and in combination with all that he already had in his tool chest, this could seem pretty scary for the rest of the league. Let’s be honest, it is scary.

Well, that is, unless you have a Bam Adebayo on your team. Follow along here.

While his ability as a defender is second to few, if any in the first place, that goes without saying. When you think about the fact that Bam is, arguably, a better perimeter defender than he is closer to the rim (both being elite or right there), then you have that in your pockets as well.
