The season is officially underway and the Miami Heat are 2-1. This is nothing to complain about, as their one loss was an overtime game where they just fell a bit short.

Certain players, such as Tyler Herro and Jimmy Butler, have stood out more than others. While some players, such as Kyle Lowry, have not necessarily lived up to expectations quite yet.

Now, some might say it’s a bit too early to make any rash decisions, but it’s never too early to speculate. There are always going to be ways available to beef up the roster.

With that in mind, what are three realistic trades that could help beef up the rotation? Who would be involved and who would the Miami Heat get in return?

Trades to help beef up the Miami Heat rotation: Chris Boucher

The Raptors are off to a fairly poor start to the year. Their offense looks rough and so far this season they sit at 1-3 and are tied for second-to-last in the East.

Chris Boucher has been struggling, but based on his play in years past, he would definitely be an upgrade for Miami. He can play the four or five and can stretch the floor a bit, too.

With how bad the Raptors are, they might be willing to make some moves at the deadline. Considering they are going to have to pay Boucher after this year, trading him could be in their best interest.

Meanwhile, they would get two veterans who they could buy out, as well as a solid young piece in KZ Okpala. This trade could help both sides at the deadline this year.
