The Miami Heat have improved to a 2-1 record after defeating the Orlando Magic, 107-90. Bouncing back from an overtime loss in Indiana, the Heat returned to the FTX Arena on Monday, once again showing glimpses of a possible title contender and especially with their improved pace and defensive instincts.

However, there’s been moments where the Heat have seemed disorganized and frantic.

In a vortex of high turnover rates, poor shooting stretches, and unfulfilled offensive possessions in comparison to opening night against Milwaukee, Miami limited those mistakes on Monday and will embark on a difficult portion of their early-season schedule with momentum.

The only possible exception would be Duncan Robinson, the Heat’s fourth-year guard and elite NBA sharpshooter, who’s seen a rough start through his first three outings.

Combining his preseason numbers, Robinson has converted on just 21 of his 62 attempts from beyond the arc, but the issue is that he’s missed certain looks that he’s extremely capable of making.
