Miami Heat: Could Tyler Herro Be A ‘Dark Horse’ All-Star Candidate?

That’s not a knock on Kyle Lowry, but speaks to how well this team is, can be, and how well Tyler Herro is playing. With that though, it begs of a couple questions about Tyler and the potential for the rest of his season.

While he should, certainly, be a top competitor for both the NBA’s Most Improved Player and Sixth Man Of The Year Awards, there is another honor that he might just be in the running for. Let’s be frank.

If Tyler Herro can continue this level of play and with this level of efficiency, especially if the Miami Heat can maintain their winning ways, he’ll certainly be in play as a dark horse All-Star candidate, at the very least.

His numbers rank him near the top of the league for his position, overall, and especially when you think about the way that All-Stars are chosen.
