The Miami Heat haven’t had what most would consider a traditional up and down year, but some could call it that. Simply based on the dichotomy of their showings, when at their worst or at their best during this young season, you can realistically call it that.

In games they have lost, Denver, Indiana, and Boston, you can see a completely different mentality or simply put, a lack of the same effort they’ve had in most their wins.

Even in the Utah Jazz game, where they allowed the Jazz to close a nearly 20 point lead in just a few minutes and never mind the fact that it was all started with only five minutes to go in the game, they played with a different level of energy.

Their are some faults there too.

Their focus, technique, and ability could have been in question during that comeback scare, but their effort couldn’t. That’s the same thing that you say to yourself when thinking about Duncan Robinson.

Though you can question the way he goes about certain things or why he makes certain decisions, you can’t ever question his effort or want to.
