Miami Heat: They Can’t Afford Off Nights Or Lapses As Teams Hunt Them

Lastly and again, the Miami Heat weren’t the team that had given up two massive leads, only to lose, to the same team, and one that projects to, likely, be near the top of the NBA Draft Lottery.

That would be the same Los Angeles Lakers that played miles above their heads because the Miami Heat presented them with a chance to get a huge win. Right?

So, all and all, the point is this. Just like the Lakers and for erroneous as some of the takes might be, teams are getting up to play the Miami Heat.

The same has been the case for what seems like, every game, in this young but up-and-down season thus far. The Miami Heat are really being tested and early.

Opposing teams see the chance for a get right game, a statement win, or a chance to show the world what they’re made of on a grander stage, as a ton of eyes will continue to be on the Miami Heat this year.

The Miami Heat have to realize that too and the sooner they do, the better off they’ll be. They can’t afford to have off nights or many periods of stagnation, because the minute they do, all the rest of the teams that are salivating to beat them… will.
