After the Wizards is a matchup against the Detroit Pistons. They have some talent, but as their 3-9 record indicates, they aren’t ready yet.

Keep Jerami Grant from killing you and you’re ok. Not letting Cade Cunningham set all-time rookie records on you would also help, but he hasn’t necessarily proved to be able to do that yet anyway.

Some might call it modest, but once you throw the Timberwolves and their 4-8 record into that mix, things look a little bit better all the while. They do have some talent though and have shown to be able to do some things offensively, but the Miami Heat should be able to overcome what they have.

Looking at those next six games and with the consideration of splitting with Washington in mind, the Miami Heat could and should find themselvesb13-6 after next Wednesday. You hate to look awfully far out, but you always want to keep one eye ahead, on the competition and where you might can make little runs or jumps in the schedule.

The Miami Heat have an opportunity over their next six contests to do just that. That sets them on a collision course and Eastern Conference clash with the Chicago Bulls, one of the league’s surprise teams.

We will see how the Heat handle it all. If they do what they are capable of, they’ll either be at the top of the conference or right up under the top at the end of the next six contests.
