The Miami Heat will look to finish handling their business on Saturday, as they head to Washington to face the Wizards. Defeating this same Wizards team in their last game on Thursday, though in Miami, that means two things.

The Miami Heat know that they have what it takes to beat this team, though not at their place, so to speak. The second thing is that the Wizards will come in with a mindset to get one back and especially with some of their key guys ready to suit up again.

Spencer Dinwiddie is assumed to return to the lineup on Saturday, missing the Thursday night game as apart of a regimen that sees him rest on the second night of back to back games due to returning from injury.

Wizards big man and rim protection, Daniel Gafford, also didn’t play in Thursday’s game but unlike Dinwiddie, who’s sure to go, Gafford is still listed as questionable. Not alone, the Miami Heat also have a guy that many thought would be out, but is now questionable.

While early reports seemed to indicate that Tyler Herro would miss a second straight game against Washington on Saturday, it’s now a matter on which there is uncertainty. With the injuries and returns locked in, what are the odds for this one?

Miami Heat vs Washington Wizards Chances & Predictions

While in most situations, there is a play or a wager that sticks out the most but in this one, there isn’t a bad bet on the board. With two of the top scoring teams in the league, they average more than 207 points combined, so the over/under is a pretty safe play.

The Miami Heat should win this game and that’s even with the return of Spencer Dinwiddie and Gafford. Again, the Miami Heat were at home on Thursday, but they beat this team by 15.

It’s worth noting that this was without one of their top options and a guy that might be an All-Star this yearTyler Herro.

Throw in the fact that Kyle Lowry wasn’t all that explosive and there is, yet, another reason to give the Miami Heat the solid edge in this one. If none of that matters to you, take this on for size.

Why then, with The Wiz being at their place, are the Miami Heat favored by one point? It’s a good question and one that should have you firmly leaning Heat.

The chances of a one point victory aren’t necessarily slim, but the chances of it being something else are higher, which makes the spreaddecent play. It’s only “decent” because… why be greedy?
