The Miami Heat knew they were in for an out-and-out dogfight on Saturday night, heading to the Windy City to face off against one of the other top teams in the Eastern Conference. Facing off against the Chicago Bulls, they would need to be at their best in order to get the win.

Well, they would already be behind heading into this one, as it was announced shortly prior to the game that Tyler Herro wouldn’t be playing. He was dealing with what has been described as an illness and overall body soreness.

In any situation and without one of their top-two options, they knew they’d have to do some extra work to get a win on Saturday. Well, it was that—or get a huge contribution from someone else.

It must’ve been at that moment—where Gabe Vincent said “hold my beverage”. Gabe absolutely came to play on Saturday, continuing his excellent streak of play over the last few games.

To be quite frank, had it not been for two huge Gabe three-pointers late in the game, the Miami Heat might not win the game.

The Miami Heat would be without Tyler Herro on Saturday night, meaning they’d need extra production from somewhere. Gabe Vincent answered the call.

Yes, there was a ton of game to go at that point, but the nature of the situation looked bleak.

Down six at that point, Gabe hit one three to bring the Heat back within three, and after the Bulls had gone on a pretty sizable run to get it out to six in the first place. He then proceeded to come down and hit another one pretty soon after that, allowing Miami to tie the ball game at 80.

Between him and Kyle Lowry, they were the offense that carried the Heat to the final minutes of the game. That’s when the resident closer, Jimmy Butler, took over.

However, had it not been for the huge efforts of the man called Nnamdi in his native land of Nigeria, the Miami Heat aren’t in a position to let Jimmy close it. His efforts and scoring were absolutely critical on Saturday, absolutely needed, and the reason they won this game.

Gabe finished with 20 points, two boards, and five helpers. He did so on 6-11 from the field and 4-8 from range.
