The Miami Heat will attempt to successfully complete the second leg of a back-to-back on Saturday as they head over to Milwaukee. After handling the Indiana Pacers on Friday night, they’ll look to keep the good energy flowing over the two-game trip with a huge win over the Milwaukee Bucks.

Though the Miami Heat manhandled these Bucks earlier in the year, they were without Jrue Holiday and Brook Lopez for that game. Though Jrue Holiday is back and Khris Middleton has returned from a lengthy absence, they are still without Lopez due to recent back surgery.

In fact, it appears that they might be without Giannis Antetokounmpo on Saturday too. Reports indicate that he is listed as doubtful due to right calf soreness.

While that would be good news for the Miami Heat’s chances to win the game and Miami Heat wagerers alike, what should people really take from the report? Well, first, here are the lines.

The Miami Heat might face a Giannis-less Bucks team on Saturday. If so, how does that impact the way that the odds and lines should be perceived?

Analysis

To be frank and though, neither, Bam Adebayo nor Jimmy Butler are going for the Miami Heat, the +175 Moneyline play isn’t a bad one. That’s especially after the Miami Heat came to life against Indiana on Friday and double amounts of that if Antetokounmpo doesn’t go.

With all due respect to Holiday and Middleton, this Bucks team is not much better than the Indiana team they dispelled on Friday night if Giannis isn’t in the lineup. It may seem like a stretch, but think about it?

Yes, Giannis is just that good. So, if you want to make a play—that’s the one. The Spread is a decent play for the same reasons.

You are getting points, the Miami Heat team could beat them as presently constructed without Giannis, and they have a shot even if he does go. Those are your reasons.

The Total is a good one too. Both of these teams score when they are right and that should be the case on Saturday, with or without Giannis going.

This is a Miami Heat bettor’s dream. With Giannis, potentially, not going and with the Heat coming off of the type of win they got on Friday, especially with how they got it done, this game is ripe with the opportunity to make a few shillings.
