Miami Heat: Kyle Lowry Has To Keep His Focus On Scoring

It doesn’t help that Miami’s regular starting backcourt has been struggling the past couple of games either. The Duncan Robinson struggles are well documented but if you want a take, it’s that he needs to stop thinking so much while continuing to mix up his game more.

With his struggles, you’ve seen and heard a lot of criticism for the sharpshooter, rightfully so and though perhaps, not to the depth that he has gotten it. But what you haven’t seen or heard enough of— is Kyle Lowry criticism.

Wednesday night saw Miami lose to the Cleveland Cavaliers, with Lowry only attempting nine shots. Of course, you don’t blame him for Miami losing that game.

What you could have said though is that Lowry needed to focus on scoring a lot more than he has thus far this season. With Robinson struggling, Lowry not shooting the three-ball that well this year really hurts, just around 30 percent.

You know that he likes to get his teammates involved earlier, his job is on this team, which was fine earlier in the season when Miami was healthy. Now though, that isn’t so much the case.
